    Both policyholders and agents can quickly create a Certificate of Insurance (COI) through the Beacon Mutual online portal. The COI can be downloaded as a PDF and shared, printed, or saved locally for business purposes.

    Before You Begin

    • You must be logged in to the Beacon Mutual online portal.
    • This feature is available to both policyholders and agents.
    • Certificates created through the portal are not saved within the system.
    • Each COI is generated as a one-time document and must be downloaded if you wish to keep a copy for future use.

            How to Create a COI

            1. Log in to the Beacon Mutual online portal.
            2. Navigate to the appropriate policy.
            3. Open the Actions menu.
            4. Select Create a COI.
            5. Enter the required certificate information in the fields provided.
            6. Review the information for accuracy.
            7. Select the option to generate or export the certificate.
            8. Download the COI as a PDF.

                            Once the PDF is generated, you can:

                            • Save it to your device
                            • Print it
                            • Email or share it with third parties

                                  Important Information

                                  Because Certificates of Insurance are generated on demand, they are not stored in the portal after creation. If you need the certificate again in the future, you will need to create a new one and export another PDF.
