How to Access Loss Prevention Documents

Beacon Mutual makes loss prevention documents available electronically through the Online Portal. When a new document is available, you'll receive an email notification so you can review and download it as soon as it's posted.

For Policyholders

When a new loss prevention document is issued, your Loss Prevention Representative will send an email notification to the policyholder and copy the agent.

To view your loss prevention documents:

  1. Log in to the Beacon Mutual Online Portal.
  2. Select Loss Prevention from the main menu.
  3. View all available loss prevention documents and corrective actions.
  4. Select and download any document as needed.

          Loss prevention documents are also available through UMM.

          Types of documents you may see:

          • Corrective action reports
          • Loss prevention recommendations
          • Inspection reports
          • Other loss prevention-related documents

                  For Agents

                  Agents receive the same email notification when a policyholder has new loss prevention documents available.

                  To access a policyholder's loss prevention documents:

                  1. Log in to the Beacon Mutual Online Portal.
                  2. Search for the insured account.
                  3. Open the insured's record.
                  4. Navigate to the Loss Prevention section.
                  5. View and download any available documents.

                            You can also access documents directly from the link included in the email notification. After logging in to the portal, you'll be taken to the document associated with the notification.

                            Frequently Asked Questions

                            How will I know when a new loss prevention document is available?

                            Your Loss Prevention Representative will send an email notification when new documents are available. The policyholder will receive the email, and the agent will be copied on the notification.

                            Where can policyholders find loss prevention documents?

                            Policyholders can access loss prevention documents through the Beacon Mutual Online Portal by selecting Loss Prevention from the main menu. Documents are also available through UMM.

                            Can agents view a policyholder's loss prevention documents?

                            Yes. Agents can access loss prevention documents from the insured's account record in the Beacon Mutual Online Portal.

                            Can I download loss prevention documents?

                            Yes. Both policyholders and agents can view and download available loss prevention documents from the portal.

                            What if I can't access a document from the notification email?

                            Select the link in the email and log in to the Beacon Mutual Online Portal. If the document does not open, navigate to the insured's Loss Prevention section to locate it. If you still need assistance, contact your Beacon Mutual representative.
