# How Can I Reinstate My Policy?

Policy reinstatement is not guaranteed and depends on several factors.

The most common reason for reinstatement is a missed payment. You must pay the full outstanding balance. If payment is made within three days of cancellation, the policy will be reinstated automatically. After three days, proof of payment and a no-loss letter may be required. Work with your agency to complete the process. If the policy has been canceled for more than 30 days, a new policy application must be submitted.

If the policy is canceled for a reason other than nonpayment, contact your agent for assistance with the reinstatement process.
