How to Request Payment from a Policyholder When Binding Coverage

Overview

Before binding coverage, agents should send the insured a payment link when applicable. Beacon Mutual recommends sending the payment request before completing the bind process.

Important

A unique client email address must be included in the proposal. The client receives portal access information and payment links through that email address.

Request Payment

• Open the proposal.
• Review premium and coverage details.
• Select Email Payment Link.
• Verify the insured email address.
• Send the payment link.
• Confirm receipt with the insured.
• Proceed with binding once authorized.
