How do I set up automatic payments (auto-pay)?

You can set up or manage automatic payments based on the format of your policy number.

If your policy number has a suffix

A suffixed policy number appears in a format such as 12345-001.

  1. Sign in to the Beacon Mutual online portal at beaconmutual.com.
  2. Select Billing and open your billing account.
  3. Make your first online payment.
  4. Choose the available AutoPay option during the payment process.

          After enrollment, you can remove AutoPay by selecting Remove AutoPay on the Billing Account page.

          If your policy number does not have a suffix

          A legacy policy number appears in a format such as 12345.

          You can manage AutoPay in either of these ways:

          • Sign in at beaconmutual.com, select Billing, and open your billing account.
          • Call 833-326-7022 and select option 4.

              Important information about AutoPay

              • Schedule AutoPay at least one week before the payment due date.
              • AutoPay does not pay an existing past-due amount.
              • If you have a past-due balance, make a one-time payment.

                    Frequently asked questions

                    How do I know whether my policy has a suffix?

                    A suffix appears after a hyphen at the end of the policy number, such as-001. You can find your policy number on your invoice or policy documents.

                    Can I remove AutoPay online?

                    For a suffixed policy, use the Remove AutoPay option on the Billing Account page.

                    Will AutoPay collect a balance that is already past due?

                    No. AutoPay does not pay past-due amounts. Submit a one-time payment for the past-due balance.

                    How can I check whether AutoPay is active?

                    Open your billing account in the portal. An account enrolled in AutoPay is identified on the billing account details.
