FAQs - Transition to the New Beacon Mutual Online Portal

What is changing?

Beacon Mutual is introducing a new online portal and system experience for policyholders. The new portal will provide access to policy information, billing, claims, documents, and other online services.

When will the new portal be available?

The new portal will be available to active policyholders beginning September 1, 2026.

What is the non-transaction period?

The non-transaction period is a short period during which we complete the transition to our new system.

The non-transaction period begins at the close of business on August 27, 2026, and continues through August 31, 2026.

During this time, some account transactions may be temporarily unavailable.

When will I receive my portal activation email?

Eligible users will receive a welcome and activation email before the new portal becomes available.

Additional communications will be sent throughout the transition period.

Do I need to activate my account?

Yes.

If you receive a portal welcome email, you must activate your account using the instructions provided in the email.

Do I need to create a new account?

Yes.

When you receive your welcome email, you will need to activate your account using the temporary password and activation link provided.

Will my existing BEACONNECT username and password continue to work?

No.

BEACONNECT credentials will not carry over to the new portal. Follow the instructions in your welcome email to activate your new account.

Can I still make payments during the transition?

Yes.

Please continue to follow the payment instructions provided on your invoice. Payment options will remain available during the transition period.

Depending on your policy status, you may be directed to a different payment platform or process.

Can I still make a payment by phone?

Yes.

Phone payments will remain available throughout the transition period.

Should I do anything differently when making a payment?

No.

Continue to follow the payment instructions included on your invoice.

Why am I being directed to a different payment system?

Not all policies will transition to the new system at the same time.

Some policies and premium audit invoices may continue to use existing payment methods during the transition period.

Always follow the payment instructions provided on your invoice.

I am currently enrolled in Auto-Pay. Do I need to do anything?

No.

If you are currently enrolled in Auto-Pay through PSN, no action is required at this time. Your scheduled payments will continue to process as expected.

Will my upcoming Auto-Pay payment still be processed?

Yes.

If you are currently enrolled in Auto-Pay through PSN, your scheduled payments will continue to process as expected.

Will my Auto-Pay enrollment automatically transfer to the new system?

Your current Auto-Pay enrollment will remain active until your policy renews into the new system.

Policies will begin renewing into the new system on a rolling basis starting November 1, 2026.

After renewal, customers who wish to continue using Auto-Pay may need to enroll in the payment options available through the new system.

What happens when my policy renews?

Beginning November 1, 2026, policies will start renewing into the new system on a rolling basis.

After your policy renews, please review the payment instructions included with your renewal invoice and billing materials. These instructions will explain the payment options available to you and any actions that may be required.

Will I need to re-enroll in Auto-Pay after my policy renews?

Possibly.

If you want to continue using Auto-Pay after your policy renews into the new system, you may need to enroll in the Auto-Pay option available through the new system.

Additional information will be provided with your renewal and billing materials.

How will I know if I need to take action after renewal?

Review the payment instructions included with your renewal invoice and billing materials.

These materials will explain any payment options, Auto-Pay enrollment requirements, and next steps available for your policy.

I Have a Pay-As-You-Go (PYG) Policy. Do I Need to Do Anything?

If you have an existing Pay-As-You-Go (PYG) policy and use TruPay for payroll reporting, you will need to connect your TruPay account through the new Beacon Mutual Online Portal after launch.

Connecting your account will allow you to continue accessing TruPay and managing your Pay-As-You-Go policy through the new portal.

Will my existing TruPay account still work?

Yes. Existing TruPay customers will continue using their TruPay account. However, you will need to connect that account to your new Beacon Mutual Online Portal account to access TruPay through the portal.

When should I connect my TruPay account?

You can connect your TruPay account once you have activated your new Beacon Mutual Online Portal account.
