How to Upload an ACORD Form

Overview

Agents can upload a PDF ACORD application and allow the system to automatically populate proposal information using optical character recognition (OCR).

Upload an ACORD Form

• Start a new proposal.
• Enter the effective date.
• Select Acord Upload as the application type.
• Answer the workers' compensation coverage question.
• Select Continue.
• Click Upload File.
• Select Choose File.
• Upload the ACORD PDF.
• Select Save.
• Wait while the system reads the file.
• Select Continue.
• Verify the insured name and FEIN.
• Complete any required fields not populated automatically.

FAQ

What happens if OCR cannot read the file?

The proposal will not be created and you'll need to upload a different file.
