What to Expect During the Transition to Beacon Mutual's New Online Portal
Overview
Beacon Mutual is transitioning to a new online portal designed to provide a more streamlined, secure, and user-friendly experience for policyholders and agents. As we move to our new Origami-powered platform, there are a few important changes and temporary disruptions you should be aware of. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible and ensure you have the resources and support you need every step of the way.
What's Changing?
The new portal will provide policyholders and agents with access to important account information, billing, claims, documents, and other self-service features in a modernized online experience.
Along with the new portal, Beacon Mutual is introducing a new payment experience powered by One Inc for policies written in the new system, while some legacy policies may continue to use PSN during the transition period.
Watch for Your Portal Welcome & Activation Email
All eligible users will receive a Portal Welcome and Activation email with instructions for accessing the new portal on 9/1/2026. This email will include:
- A link to access the new portal
- Information needed to activate your account
Important: The activation email will be sent from Beacon Mutual from notifications@beaconmutual.com. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders.
Temporary Non-Transaction Period
To safely convert information from our current systems to the new platform, there may be a brief non-transaction period during the transition. This will take place from close of business on August 27 at close of business until the new system launch on September 1.
During this time:
- BEACONNECT online secure portal will be unavailable.
- Payments can be made by phone at 401-825-2667.
- Auto-Pay payments due during the non-transaction period will be paid on 9/1/2026.
If you need immediate assistance during the non-transaction period, customer support will be available to help answer questions and direct you to the appropriate resource. Beacon's transition support model includes phone, email, and chat support for users navigating the portal rollout.

As part of this transition, Beacon Mutual is implementing a new payment system for eligible policies.
Policies Issued After September 1, 2026
Policies issued after September 1, 2026, will use Beacon Mutual's new payment platform. Customers can:
- Make one-time payments online
- Schedule automatic payments
- Pay as a guest
- Make payments through an automated phone system

Pay-As-You-Go (TruPay) Customers - Connect your PYG Account
If you have an existing Beacon Mutual Pay-As-You-Go (PYG) policy and use TruPay for payroll reporting, you will need to connect your TruPay account through the new Beacon Mutual Online Portal after launch.
Connecting your account will allow you to continue accessing TruPay and managing your Pay-As-You-Go policy through the new portal.

Will my existing TruPay account still work?
Yes. Existing TruPay customers will continue using their TruPay account. However, you will need to connect that account to your new Beacon Mutual Online Portal account to access TruPay through the portal.

What is changing?

What is the non-transaction period?
The non-transaction period is a short period during which we complete the transition to our new system. The non-transaction period begins at the close of business on August 27, 2026, and continues through August 31, 2026. During this time, some account transactions may be temporarily unavailable.
When will I receive my portal activation email?
Eligible users will receive a welcome and activation email before the new portal becomes available. If you currently have a BEACONNECT account, or if you have a primary email on your policy with Beacon Mutual, you will receive the welcome email.
Do I need to activate my account?
Yes. If you receive a portal welcome email, you must activate your account using the instructions provided in the email.
Will my existing BEACONNECT username and password continue to work?
No. BEACONNECT credentials will not carry over to the new portal. Follow the instructions in your welcome email to activate your new account.
Can I still make payments during the transition?
Yes. During the non-transaction period from close of business on 8/27/2026 through 8/31/2026 payments can be made by phone ONLY. If you are enrolled in auto-pay, the transaction will be processed on 9/1/2026.
Can I still make a payment by phone?
Yes. Phone payments will remain available throughout the transition period.
Should I do anything differently when making a payment?
No. Continue to follow the payment instructions included on your invoice.
I am currently enrolled in Auto-Pay. Do I need to do anything?
No. If you are currently enrolled in Auto-Pay through PSN, no action is required at this time. Your scheduled payments will continue to process as expected.
Will my upcoming Auto-Pay payment still be processed?
Yes. If you are currently enrolled in Auto-Pay through PSN, your scheduled payments will continue to process as expected.
Will my Auto-Pay enrollment automatically transfer to the new system when I renew?
Your current Auto-Pay enrollment will remain active until your policy renews into the new system.
Policies will begin renewing into the new system on a rolling basis starting November 1, 2026.
After renewal, customers who wish to continue using Auto-Pay may need to enroll in the payment options available through the new system.
What happens when my policy renews?
Beginning November 1, 2026, policies will start renewing into the new system on a rolling basis.
